STAHL PROFESSIONAL FOLDING MACHINE STAR – FOLD

2 Primary Folds, 3 Crossfolds.
Description:
The STAR – Fold series provides well-established primary and combination folding methods presented in a recognizable package. Enhanced fold accuracy and consistency are maintained by the latest available electronic control. A variety of primary and cross folding combinations ensures that a wide range of production requirements can be achieved by utilizing the extensive configuration option menus.

Lanes – Primary & Cross folding:
This model provides primary folding and cross folding in a single lane or primary folding only in a single lane.
Method of Folding:
Primary Folds:
High-speed air jets direct the items into rollers to perform all primary folds.
Cross folds:
Number 1 cross fold is performed by a blade fold directing the item between rollers.
Number 2 cross fold is performed by an air jet directing the item through a reversing conveyor mechanism.
Number 3 cross fold is performed by lift fingers directing the item through a reversing conveyor mechanism.

Machine Capacity:
Standard effective piece width Maximum 3000 mm dependent on machine width required.
Standard effective piece width Minimum 200 mm.
Standard piece running length Maximum 2800 mm (see optional extras).
Standard piece running length Minimum 500 mm dependent on fold requirement.

Standard machine specification includes:
Microprocessor controlled system
Multi-level security access for operators, supervisors and maintenance personnel.
Bypass over the machine or through the machine in multi lane mode (All lanes).
Bypass over the machine or through the machine in single lane mode.
Auto-variable speed control automatically adjusts STAR – Fold speed to match variants in ironer speeds between 10-30 m/min.
Programmable fixed speeds between 10-30m/min.
Article collection table to rear of machine
Article collection table to side of machine for all cross folded items. (Not applicable when optional STAHL side stacker is specified).
Safety operator guard interlocked to machine control.
Standard nose conveyor allows 3800mm maximum length of piece for folding (see optional extras).
Run time monitoring, individual piece counters per lane and totalizing count for production.
CE standard compliance.
